About The RoleThe role of the Commercial Manager (Sales) will be a vital part of the dynamic Siemens Energy STG Service sales team. In this role you will assume responsibility for all commercial aspects of negotiation of customer contracts, plus tenders, quotations, and offers for the Steam and Generator Service business in Egypt & Oman.The successful applicant will join our existing team at our Cairo office. You will enjoy being part of a vibrant sales environment and be able to apply your experience in negotiating contracts to provide our products, solutions and services across a range of energy technologies.How you’ll make an impact?Undertaking contract negotiations with customers. Ensure that contract negotiations are successfully completed within agreed parameters for pricing and contractual risk profiles, and are in line with the company’s strategies and policies.Leading, undertaking and finalising contract reviews, draft amendments, and facilitate input from key stakeholders including technical and legal teams.Providing commercial, financial and contractual advice for offers and tenders, including terms and conditions, cash flow, risk assessments, review with tendering team of the price calculations etc.Collaborate with stakeholders such as in-house legal counsel, taxes, insurance, tendering team, sales executives, technical team, procurement managers, and senior management, as well as the company wide sales commercial teams in the Siemens Energy factories across the globe.Coordinating internal approval process and presentations for local country management, Middle East and other overseas headquarters.Support and contribute to the internal due diligence processes for bid approval (Limit of Authority – LOA process) for region Middle East.Facilitating the handover of successful orders to project managers (Operations) for project delivery.Support the creation and amendment of Customer Master DataSupport the RME Commercial Head of Sales for the preparation of monthly analysis of New Orders for management review and annual budget preparation for new orders and revenue for all the countries in region Middle East.Monitoring of the Sales force data in close collaboration with the Sales team to ensure orders received are timely booked in SAP system and major data points are correctly reflected in Sales Force tool.What you bring?Bachelors in one of the following fields: Law, Business, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or similar. You are determined and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in teamsYou are open to new ways of working and enjoy engaging in a culture-diverse environment.You have the flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.You have the ability to handle various deadlines and a strong dedication to delivering to targets.Previous role in commercial, legal, and/or accounting environment. Exposure to areas such as tendering, project management, sales, marketing, procurement or service will be highly regarded.Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Exposure to online collaboration tools and SAP an advantage but not essential.Strong communication, negotiation, drafting and presentation skills.Experience in the Energy sector will be highly regarded though not essential.Confident in working on projects of varying amounts and across various contract structures (Supply & Install, EPC/Turnkey Solutions, Frame Agreements, Long term Service Agreements, Operations and maintenance contracts).Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in commercial related tasks or contract management will be highly regarded.About The TeamTransformation of IndustryOur Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector.
