Operates two Plant in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah & Dammam). We are looking for Machine Shop Group Leader, reporting workshop supervisor. The position is based in Jeddah.Main Responsibilities: Follow job orders from Workshop Supervisor for assign jobs and task. Ensure safe working and good housekeeping practices. Ensure completion of assigned task on time with proper quality and safety. Identify and report on recurring issues to supervision. Assist in the design and implementation of authorized experimental, development or expansion projects for optimizing the use of equipment material and manpower. Train and cooperation with other department personnel so that the manpower is most effectively utilized and developed. Ensure the gear boxes, maintenance equipment, tools inspection, steel fabrication works and building maintenance works are carried out. Be a team member for project and give best of possible. Carryout inspections and necessary repairs if needed for firefighting equipment, fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants. Arrange to carryout refurbishment of gearboxes, spares for stores stock, brackets, guides and other spare parts. If needed support for Building, Plant facility and Utility repair and maintenance. LPG monitoring and maintenance. Arrange to repair and maintain roof fans in coordination with Electrical Team.About You:In order to succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical engineering)Experience And Key Competences: Mechanical maintenance and repairs including machining, grinding, milling, lathing, gearboxes etc. Ability to do steel fabrication work, building and utilities maintenance. Knowledge of tools inspection and preparation of PM&R reports. Mechanical setting and changeover of cups and cans handling system. Proven experience as welder and fabricator. Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.). Experience in using electrical or manual tools (i.e. saws, grinding machines, squares, calipers etc.). Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Knowledge of relative safety standards / awareness and willingness to use PPE (i.e. face-shield, gloves etc.). Deftness and attention to detail.
