Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Procurement Specialist with solid experience in construction materials and procurement operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical specifications, be capable of interpreting engineering drawings and material submittals, and manage procurement activities in fast-track EPC projects, particularly in industrial, commercial facilities and Data Center Projects.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret construction technical specifications, and BOQs to identify material requirements.
Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors for materials, ensuring compliance with technical and quality requirements.
Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate prices, delivery terms, and commercial conditions.
Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Site teams to ensure material selection aligns with project needs.
Track procurement schedules to support tight timelines of fast-track EPC projects.
Conduct technical evaluations for material submittals and coordinate with consultants for approvals.
Ensure timely placement of purchase orders and monitor deliveries to meet project deadlines.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and competitive pricing.
Participate in vendor performance reviews and supplier prequalification processes.
Preferred
Experience in Design & Build or EPC projects.
Knowledge of international procurement practices and incoterms.
PMP or procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Equivalent (Mandatory).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical procurement within the construction industry.
Proven experience in EPC fast-tracks projects (industrial and/or commercial facilities is a strong advantage).
Strong knowledge of construction materials (concrete, steel, finishing materials, data Center, etc.) and their technical specifications.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
Familiar with procurement tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
