Job Description

Job description: Job Purpose To assist in the delivery of effective communications across the Bank and across all communication disciplines (Media, advertising, marketing, merchandising & events), paying particular attention to the implementation of the Bank’s brand and communication guidelines across all elements of marketing, advertising and corporate collateral and stationery. Key Accountabilities Implementation of Corporate Identity Guidelines• Ensure the consistent application of the Bank’s corporate identity guidelines across all elements of advertising, marketing and communication.   Marketing Collateral• Develop collaterals that will promote the Bank’s business and client servicing needs, such as product collaterals,  advertisements and corporate gifts• Develop corporate collateral/stationery in support of the Bank’s operational needs, such as greeting cards, calendars, ATM receipts, roll-up banners and public holiday notices• Oversee the publishing of critical investor communication such as the NBF annual report and balance sheet announcements .   PR support• Facilitate efforts to develop and distribute press releases & news announcements with the bank’s PR agency• Support the implementation of the various components of the PR strategy, which includes everything from media training of senior management to networking opportunities with NBF management that raises the bank’s profile with external stakeholders.   Internal Communication• Communicate and engage staff so as to promote & embed a communicative and transparent corporate culture within the organisation to align them with the Bank’s strategic objectives• Ensure all internal communication, organisational announcements and policy changes are featured on internal communication channels from the staff Intranet to the digital newsletter• Conceptualise and implement communication activities or staff campaigns that reinforce the bank’s corporate values as well as enhance the bank’s reputation (internally and externally) as an employer of choice.• Regularly monitor and evaluate bank’s internal communication efforts so as to improve their overall effectiveness  Other Accountabilities Event management• Raise the Bank’s market profile and facilitate staff engagement through the organisation of activities i.e. coordinating NBF’s participation in industry events, client appreciation functions, annual staff party, Terry Fox Run etc. Vendor Management • Assist in the appointment and maintenance of vendor relationships, hence ensuring timely and cost-effective deliverables Management of Departmental Budget & Expenses• Monitor the departmental budget and expenses and coordinate vendor payments.   NBF website, intranet, SEO & social media• Support the administration and ongoing development of  NBF’s website in coordination with NBF IS&T• Responsible for updating information on the NBF websiteas and when requested by any stakeholder• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for the vetting of information existing in the website to ensure up-to-date information• Design and implement digital marketing activities to raise awareness of the Bank and its business/service propositions• Drive the social media efforts of the bank to meet its business and communication objectives.   Corporate Social Responsibility• Drive the community building initiatives of the Bank with the long term view of establishing the bank as a committed corporate citizen in the UAE and its home emirate of Fujairah  Other Accountabilities Job Context Education Degree in marketing communications preferred Experience and Skills Degree in marketing communications preferredThree to five year’s experience in PR and marketing communications preferred, but similar experience in an administrative/project management function would suffice. Experience in financial services a plus.
