Job Brief
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support strategic decision-making in a leading MEP and construction firm.
This role will focus on project costing, sales performance evaluation, and profitability analysis to drive financial optimization and support business growth.
Job Responsibilities
Costing & Budget Analysis
Analyze direct and indirect project costs to support accurate costing and pricing strategies.
Evaluate cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project and departmental budgets.
Sales & Revenue Analysis
Track sales trends and gross margins by product, customer, and business segment.
Prepare sales performance dashboards and monthly reports for management.
Support sales forecasting and planning processes.
Project Financial Analysis
Monitor project financial performance, including cost-to-complete and budget vs.
actual tracking.
Conduct post-project reviews and profitability analysis.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with financial targets.
Reporting & Insights
Develop financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
Assist with month-end closing activities and management reporting.
Collaboration & Compliance
Work closely with project managers, procurement, and operations to collect relevant data.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CMA/CPA is a plus).
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis and auditing, ideally in a project-based or construction environment.
Strong understanding of costing methodologies and financial modeling.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
