In a matrixed organization, the Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Incentives Director - CEMEA, collaborates closely with the Finance and Business Development teams to support the development and approval process for incentive deals.
The role involves facilitating the Geographic Incentive Group Committee and overseeing the complete incentive forecasting process for specified sub-regions.
Responsibilities encompass all facets of financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring high standards of financial discipline, providing business decision support, and fostering accountability within these sub-regions.
Incentive Deals
Facilitate the deal review process, providing feedback where appropriate to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
Offer recommendations to senior leadership on the financial viability and execution risks of deals.
Support CEMEA sub-regions with deal modeling.
Act as a Finance Business Partner (FBP) deal reviewer for CEMEA sub-regions.
Conduct in-depth analysis of deal performance
Lead enhancements and knowledge sharing in deal modeling.
Maintain CEMEA Issuing deal model
Drive continuous improvements in incentive-related processes and procedures.
Work closely with the Global Deals Team to ensure CEMEA requirements are met for all new systems.
Actively participate in testing, launching, and training to ensure a smooth roll-out across sub regions.
Maintain a detailed pipeline of deals and track all deals in the covered markets, collaborating with other internal stakeholders (Legal, Client Contract Management, Controlling, etc.) to ensure that CEMEA client incentive contracts are executed efficiently, properly accounted for, and meet internal governance and compliance requirements.
Reporting and Planning
Prepare regular management reports with key focus in area of clients and profitability matters
Manage ad hoc/monthly/quarterly/yearly analysis to be used by other teams and CEMEA CFO
Contribute to Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting activities within the scope in line with regional and global requirements
Lead GARP adoption for Incentives analysis
Leverage ORMB data to enhance incentives reporting
Teamwork
Actively contribute to the effectiveness of the team by supporting and co-operating with colleagues and providing cover during period of absence.
The flexibility to liaise with various functions both within Visa and externally to deliver ad hoc projects
This is a hybrid position.

•Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, or related quantitative field
•At least 5-7 years post qualification experience in finance
Preferred Qualifications
Technical
•Demonstrated expertise in long-term contracts, utilizing financial analysis and modeling in challenging and complex scenarios.
•High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
•Fluent in written and spoken business English.
•Familiarity with the cards business and revenue streams is a plus.
•Experience with legal contracts in payments industry would be advantageous
•Proficiency in local languages is advantageous.
•Knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
