Role Overview:The Regional IT Connectivity & Solutions Consultant will strategically execute and drive Cepheid’s connectivity solutions across KSA and the broader MENA region.
You will engage and build relationships with key regional stakeholders, including Ministries of Health, healthcare providers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), while providing expert technical and product knowledge for our IT applications, Middleware/LIS solutions, and analytical diagnostic products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive regional connectivity strategy aligned with Cepheid’s solutions and regional healthcare priorities.
Establish and nurture strategic relationships, negotiating and collaborating with key stakeholders from Ministries of Health, institutional healthcare providers, and influential KOLs.
Maintain updated knowledge of international and regional healthcare guidelines, accreditation requirements, and economic studies relevant to Cepheid’s connectivity and diagnostic solutions.
Collaborate with Middleware/LIS providers to ensure successful connectivity and integration with Cepheid systems, proactively addressing issues and implementing solutions.
Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting connectivity and integration issues remotely or on-site as necessary.
Conduct detailed ASTM/HL7/POCT1A data analyses to resolve LIS integration challenges.
Document, analyze, and resolve customer complaints using Cepheid’s complaint management system.
Regularly visit customers to proactively address issues, provide training, and enhance product adoption.
Partner closely with internal teams (Sales, Technical Applications, and Product Management) to optimize customer experiences and connectivity workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
Proven experience in healthcare IT, LIS, Middleware solutions, and connectivity within healthcare diagnostics.
Solid understanding of KSA/MENA healthcare IT infrastructures, local policies, and accreditation guidelines (e.g., CAP/CBAHI).
Hands-on experience with lab automation, middleware, LIS integration, and networking.
Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with key regional stakeholders, KOLs, and decision-makers.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of healthcare communication standards (ASTM/HL7/POCT1A).
Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
Fluency in English and Arabic; excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to travel up to 30% within KSA and the broader MENA region, including occasional international travel.
