Job Description
As a Corporate Finance Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Perform a lead advisory role in executing cross-border transactions – with direct hands-on experience in structuring acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments and capital raising
Execute live transactions for inbound and outbound investments for strategic/financial investors, provide advice to emerging companies seeking growth capital and shareholders seeking to realize value through financial restructuring and divestment
Evaluate key deal issues and potential deal breakers
Negotiate pricing and review key commercial terms for transaction together with other corporate advisors and lawyers to structure the deal
Prepare marketing pitches and assume a support role in deal origination
Interacting with Senior levels of Management, and exposure to business owners to understand areas such as historical and projected business performance, wider commercial issues, etc
Help management and boards arrive at informed decisions, by providing credible valuation analysis
Establish credibility with existing clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise and knowledge
Contribute to pursuit teams and proposal development including innovative approaches and methodologies tailored to address specific client requirements
Requirements
Significant relevant experience with a background in accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, corporate strategy and restructuring preferably within a professional services environment
Strong business and client relationship network
Solid technical abilities in financial analysis, valuation and financial modeling
Aptitude to originate and execute deals
An investigative mindset with attention to detail with an ability to see the big picture
Committed to developing client relationships with existing and potential clients
Excellent communication (written and oral), good people and client servicing skills
Proven ability to manage project workflows and deliver on time, take ownership of tasks and assignments and accept responsibility for outcomes
Qualifications such as CPA, CA, CFA, MBA will be highly regarded
Your flexibility to travel 20% of the time.
This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
