Hedera is governed by a council of the world’s leading organizations - which include Google, Boeing, IBM, Dell, Deutsche Telekom, LG, Abrdn, London School of Economics, to name a few.THA works closely with enterprises, startups, governments, and academic and training institutions around the world to deliver financing, custom-design solutions, and professional training and innovation programs, aimed at accelerating the development and utilization of the Hedera Hashgraph network.The ChallengeWe’re seeking an experienced HR Manager / Head of HR (Saudi National) who will play a critical individual contributor role in building and scaling our local HR function from the ground up. From setting up HR operations and payroll, to crafting our people strategy, recruiting the first wave of talent, and ensuring compliance with local laws—you will be the go-to person for all things HR.You will also manage the entire employee lifecycle—from drafting employment contracts, onboarding new hires, managing day-to-day HR operations, to handling offboarding processes with care and compliance.The ResponsibilitiesSet up and lead the full HR function for our new Saudi entityDrive recruitment efforts during the initial scale-up phaseOversee and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, compensation & benefits, development, retention, and offboardingDesign and implement HR policies, processes, and systems in line with local regulations and global standardsEnsure compliance with Saudi labor laws, GOSI, and Saudization requirements; Communicate with local authorities/ ministriesAct as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce planningChampion employee engagement, performance culture, and internal developmentServe as a cultural ambassador, helping embed our values into the local teamThe RequirementsSaudi National (mandatory)10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a senior HR roleProven experience in setting up a new entity and HR function from scratch in KSADeep knowledge of Saudi labor law, GOSI, Saudization, and complianceStrong operational expertise (payroll, C&B, onboarding, HRIS, etc.)Passion for recruitment and scaling teams in fast-paced environmentsExperience in or with start-ups / scale-ups is highly preferredStrategic thinker with a hands-on, “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitudeExcellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skillsFluent in Arabic and EnglishWhy join us?A unique opportunity to be a part of the world’s leading DLT ecosystemSignificant career growth potential in a fast-growing sectorOpportunity to shape and grow a new entity from day oneWork directly with a visionary international leadership teamHigh-impact, high-visibility role with real growth potentialFlexible working hours
