Job Description
Purpose
The HVAC Projects Engineer role is to oversee the execution and delivery of HVAC and mechanical systems across various projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to specifications and codes, and effective coordination with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Manage and execute HVAC and VRF systems, including AHU/FAHU units, smoke management systems, car park ventilation, and kitchen hood ventilation.
Implement the full project scope in accordance with specifications, international standards, and project requirements.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan to track progress and ensure delivery within the approved timeline and budget.
Monitor project milestones and site progress, ensuring timely and successful completion of all activities.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance (QA/QC) and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across all project stages.
Build and manage strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to align on goals and resolve issues effectively.
Attend client and consultant meetings to discuss project updates, resolve technical concerns, and align on deliverables.
Coordinate with SHAKER application and sales teams to finalize HVAC and VRF system selections and technical details.
Review and validate all design documents, shop drawings, and technical submittals before consultant submission.
Coordinate closely with SHAKER FE3 & FE4 teams to ensure proper testing, commissioning (T&C), and handover of completed systems.
Supervise and support site logistics to ensure smooth operational flow and address any issues proactively.
Track and report invoice progress for both clients and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with financial milestones.
Collaborate with the service team and client during the warranty period to ensure prompt resolution of any post delivery issues.

Job Requirements
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in project engineering or a related technical role.
Demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects through all phases from initiation to completion.
Solid technical knowledge in HVAC systems and mechanical engineering practices.
Strong project management capabilities with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or equivalent platforms.
Working knowledge of CAD software and relevant engineering applications.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
