Job DescriptionJob Overview:The Project Manager is accountable for the financial and technical success of a project or segment of the project. They manage project personnel to achieve project objectives and should consistently promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and success. The Project Manager learns from other leaders and demonstrates values aligned with McDermott’s values. They apply a basic understanding of McDermott’s business to improve project cost-effectiveness, apply change management, and improve project margin. They Develop project execution plans across disciplines and understand the project’s impact on the client’s business objectives.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Ensures that the project is planned, organized, and executed in accordance with the Business Unit expectationsEnsures project execution within time, budget, and QHSES requirements by allocating resources, managing risks, opportunities, and changesBuilds and maintains a relationship with the customer and other stakeholders associated with the Project (partners, subcontractors, vendors …). Serves as the single point of contact for the customerCreates a quality and HSE oriented work climate that encourages client satisfaction and HSE consciousness among the project teamOrganizes and manages the Project team in respect of diversity, equal opportunities, and wellbeing, implementing and cascading Mcdermott core valuesContributes to the quotation process and provides project management related information such as schedules and budgetsEnsures timely internal and external reportingManages, informs, and leads the project team by setting and monitoring performance targetsContributes to people development by interfacing with the project departmentGuarantees achievement or improvement of Profit & Loss forecastsEnsures coordination of interfacesEnsures project execution and financial closeout with appropriate feedbackDevelops integrated project team charter and lead team building, alignment, and communication processesQualificationsEssential Qualifications and Education:15 years of experience in Oil and Gas project Management.Extensive experience in significant petrochemical, oil, and gas mega projects, especially in fabrication and construction scopes management.Practical experience in coordinating with Saudi Aramco, and other relevant entities.Strong background in collaborating with operational facilities, Saudi Aramco Departments, Third Parties.Engineering degree or equivalentPrevious experience as PM or managing a full scope projectFluency in EnglishExcellent understanding of offshore projects, fabrication process, including relevant equipment, operations and servicesFunctional team leadership and managing critical timelines with the goal to streamline and provide critical customer serviceExpert to perform peer reviews, mentor team membersDeep understanding of the business principles for the Oil & Gas industryThorough understanding and experience in Project delivery processes and principlesAbout UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
