Responsibilities
The Teacher Assistant understands and promotes the nurserys vision, mission, social charter, and policies within the nursery setting and in the wider community.
Leading teaching and provision for a core group of children including managing the various resources and providing positive and efficient learning opportunities for all children irrespective of their background and starting point.
Provide a support role to a teaching team to ensure a consistent quality of provision across the team.
Maintain excellent relationships with children, parents and carers in supporting the development of confident, discerning and motivated children able to show real curiosity in learning and exploring their enquiring minds
Initiative with proven ability to work in a team
Discretion
High-level interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively
Well-developed skills of time management and organisation
Exemplary skills of communication with children, parents and all staff
Commitment to achieving best practice at MindChamps Nursery
Positive and flexible attitude
Excellent ICT skills

Excellent knowledge of how young children learn
Minimum of 2 years experience in early years education
Cache level 2 diploma or equivalent
