As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content across various platforms, including digital, print, and social media. You will work closely with our marketing, design, and content teams to develop content that aligns with our brand voice andresonates with our target audience. You will be expected to combine your skills with tangible business needs, supporting with content,pitch decks, and marketing assets.The copywriter will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Project Managers.Responsibilities include:Develop clear and concise copy for marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, emails, social media posts,advertisements, pitch presentations, and blog postsWrite sensitively and smartly on stories of interest to diverse communities related to music and entertainmentDevelop the narrative for key content of The Fridge projects, as well as new client pitches, bringing concept ideas to life inclear, intelligent and concise mannerEdit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.Have the ability to turn out stories quickly and accurately through engaging and energizing bite-sized contentEdit and write artist bios and social media captionsOptimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to our digital platforms.Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines.Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and target audience preferences to inform contentcreationStay up to date with emerging content trends, digital technologies, and industry best practicesAssist in developing and maintaining a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across all channels.Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for new campaigns and initiativesAny other duties that may be assigned to the Employee by The Fridge, all of which may be varied from time to time by noticein writing to the Employee A successful applicant for the Copywriter:Has a passion for storytelling and writingExcellent writing, editing and proofreading skillsCreative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and conceptsDegree in Journalism.
