Job Title: Associate Prevent And Awareness Director
Job Purpose
Strategic leader and director responsible for delivering all professional training services for Red Sea Global Fire and Rescue (FRS), including staff, hotel and construction fire first responders, and volunteer firefighters.
Oversees the Prevent element of the Red Sea Global Fire and Rescue strategy and ensures the establishment and operation of the service at a high standard of civil defense capability across all Red Sea Global assets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Contribution
Support the preparation and implementation of the Red Sea Global Fire and Rescue strategy aligned with Health & Safety objectives.
Translate strategy into operational business plans, monitor execution, and ensure performance objectives are met.
Build and maintain relationships with national and local Civil Defense leaders, as well as private sector Fire & Rescue Services, focusing on training provision.
Develop training opportunities to support Saudisation in line with Vision 2030.
Lead the Prevent element of the Red Sea Global Fire and Rescue strategy.
Leadership
Oversee the development, design, delivery, and operation of the Red Sea Global Fire and Rescue Training Academy.
Manage the training team, set priorities, and monitor performance.
Serve as a role model, promoting Red Sea Global’s vision, mission, and corporate values.
Lead operational response to emergency incidents at Gold Command level.
Budget Management
Contribute to the functional budget, monitor financial performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
Health & Safety
Oversee development and continual improvement of operational training.
Ensure policies and SOPs meet local and international requirements.
Supervise and participate in budget planning, service agreements, and contract management.
Provide operational training capability year-round.
Be available for deployment at Gold or Silver command 24/7.
Advise on fire studies, communications, public warnings, and hazardous materials.
Recommend procurement of equipment, personnel, and resources.
Organize fire strategy meetings and present to senior management.
Oversee training for incidents such as fires, disasters, hazardous materials, rescue operations, marine and aviation incidents, and environmental protection.
Recruit, train, and manage volunteer firefighters.
Maintain compliance with H&S legislation and participate in audits, inspections, and investigations.
Enforce workplace health and safety policies.
Act as Deputy for the Civil Defense Services Director when required.
Policies, Systems, and Reporting
Follow functional policies and SOPs for consistency and control.
Assist in preparing MIS reports for corporate requirements.
Safety, Quality & Environment
Apply policies and controls to ensure safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement using international best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Master’s degree in a related field or Business Administration.
PMP certification.
Proven leadership at a strategic level in a fire and rescue service.
Experience leading organizational change and continuous improvement.
Gold-level Incident Commander experience in multi-agency contexts.
Minimum of 20 years in a similar position.
3 years in-country managerial experience preferred but not essential.
