Job Description

Job Purpose:Develop and implement a robust risk management strategy and program, with a strong focus on corporate governance and anti-corruption measures, work closely with the integrity risk assessment exercise to ensure compliance with recommended guidelines.Accountability:Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy and program to prioritize corporate governance and anti-corruption measures, aligning with the recommendations of the integrity risk assessment exercise.Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and registers, including gifts and conflict registers, procurement registers, and delegated and signing authorities.Formulate, manage, and oversee the business integrity risk assessment and engagement process for all third-party engagements, including service providers, contractors, joint venture partners, and co-developers.Deliver customized face-to-face financial crime training to the business, ensuring all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify and prevent financial crimes.Compliance with Egyptian regulatory requirements and adherence to international best practice standards in corporate governance.Keep accurate and up-to-date compliance records and registers, to ensure transparency and accountability.Knowledge, skills, and abilities:Proven track record and at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in risk and compliance roles, preferably in multi-national firms or firms with foreign investors.Prior experience in the Egyptian and/or international healthcare sector, demonstrating familiarity with sector-specific compliance challenges and regulations to adherence to international best practice standards in corporate governanceStrong commitment to integrity, ethics, and good governance, with demonstrated leadership skills in promoting integrity and corporate governance standards.Prior experience of the Egyptian and/or international healthcare sector.Strong commitment to integrity, ethics and good governance and be able to demonstrate leadership and drive in promoting integrity and corporate governance standards.Strong knowledge of, and ability to provide guidance on, Egyptian regulatory requirements and prior exposure to international best practice standards in the private sector on corporate governanceKnowledge of anti-bribery and corruption legislation, conventions, and best practice, preferably with familiarity of the UK Bribery Act and/or the FCPA.Self-starter and motivated individual with a pro-active attitude, willing to get involved in all aspects of a new business with a clear mission.Effective and rigorous risk management skills to make well-reasoned, independent, and transparent decisions with quick turnaround expectations.Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships and communicate clearly and effectively at different levels (both internally and externally).Able to handle sensitive and confidential matters with absolute tact and discretion.Strong attention to detail with proven administrative and organizational skills.Computer literate and fully conversant with all MS Office packages.
