Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Management Office (PMO) Manager. As a PMO Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing project management processes, ensuring successful project delivery, and driving organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to implement and enhance PMO frameworks.What You Will DoEnsure PM standards and quality across the organization- Manage the project management system of Planet Group MEA and supply all project teams with PM policies and guidelines. To offer training to project team members where required. To ensure that every department and project team in the organization uses the same methods and tools. In short, the PMO supports project managers and partners in their operative work.Strategic project management- The PMO plays an important role for strategic project management because of the ability to operate across projects, partners, and departments. Manage project selection and prioritization processes and create the right conditions for the continuous improvement of the entire project management team.Operative assistance - The PMO offers project support to project managers and other teams of the organization, including partners, supporting them in their operative activities. Operative support includes moderating workshops and meetings, temporary project controlling, and the documentation of the project progress for senior management. The PMO can also take the reins of failing projects in order to get them back on track, e.g. by optimizing team communication and scheduling.Coordination of projects and resources- The PMO is responsible for coordinating the different projects and their project managers. This includes, for example, standardized resource management, i.e. managing the availability of people and materials for projects.Increasing effectiveness and efficiency - The PMO is responsible for the overall risk management for all projects in the organization, which means that it plays a big part in optimizing Planet Group MEA's project management. It also achieves an efficiency and effectiveness increase by supplying all project teams with the same PM standards, processes, and guidelines.Project coaching and training - As the main hub of PM knowledge, the PMO is also responsible for the continuous coaching of project teams, both internal and with partners. Manage kick-off meetings for new projects, and also offer project management and software training as necessary.Provide supervision and planning in the successful completion of specific projects.Who You Are.Minimum 5 years of experience in Project ManagementMinimum 3 years of Project Management within the Hospitality IndustryBachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field.
