About the RoleWe are looking for an Operations Assistant to join the team and assist with the day-to-day administrative duties. You will have previous experience in a similar role, superb organisational and time-management skills, and excellent attention-to-detail. Main ResponsibilitiesRaising local and inter-company purchase orders.Conducting site safety inductions.Processing suppliers’ delivery notes and purchase orders.Collating invoice documentation and sending for processing.Arranging flight and hotel reservations.Arranging employee work visa applications, visa renewals.Office purchasing requirements.Arranging for local deliveries and purchases.Coordinating with drivers and issuing purchase orders for transport.Preparing receipt vouchers and arranging for cheque collection as and when requested.Producing a range of delivery documentation including delivery notes, certificates , gate pass requests.Preparing all shipping documentation.Coordinating with the Facilities Team and arranging maintenance and repairs as and when required.Assisting the Ops Manager in contractor evaluation.Any other reasonable duties as required.This role is office based and the location is Emirates Industrial City, Sajaa Plot 146/16, PO Box 25896, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The CandidateRelevant university degree or qualifications.Experience in a similar role, ideally within operations.Ability to work independently and to prioritise time and tasks effectively, adhering to tight deadlines.A positive and "can-do" attitude.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good teamwork.Attention-to-detail and high level of accuracy while dealing with documents.Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & Power Point).If the role captured your attention, click "Apply".
