The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.PURPOSEAnalysing business processes, gathering requirements, and facilitating the successful implementation of technology solutions for our customers within the government projects sphere. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and government projects and processes. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including government customer business owners, projects operations managers, IT teams, and end-users, to understand business needs and requirements.Analyse and document existing government operations processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.Work with the customer to assist in getting maximum value from SITA solutions.Gather and document detailed business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, process or data flow definition for technology solutions.Work and assist on data migration requirements and data mapping.Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods .Hands on experience and work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements and facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders including maintaining traceability matrix, and accurate definition of done.Conduct feasibility studies, impact analyses, and gap assessments for proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business goals.Assist in designing, testing, and implementing software solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and quality standards including defining test plan and scenarios.Perform data analysis and provide insights to drive informed decision-making within the government projects/domain.Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members.Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), based on pre-defined acceptance criteria and facilitate training sessions for end-users to ensure successful solution adoption.Engage diplomatically with stakeholders and communicate changes that may not be aligned with the original expectations.Initiate contact with airlines to follow up on data quality issues. EXPERIENCEUniversity degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or similar.Where applicable a recognised professional qualification is desirableAt least 8+ years’ experience working in the area of Border Management systems as business analysis or system support.Software development background preferred.Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.Excellent documentation and presentation skills.Software development and test process (waterfall or Agile).Functional knowledge relating to airline data, risk assessment, command centres.
