Manager - PMO & IT Governance

Mark Williams is working with a prestigious private entity in Dubai, and they are looking for an IT Governance & PMO Manager to oversee IT security and compliance activities, proactively addressing vulnerabilities. They will collaborate with IT security and external stakeholders to mitigate vulnerabilities' impact across the organization.Role:- Provide IT risk and security services throughout the company in alignment with ICT strategy, establishing and enforcing IT and IS policy frameworks to ensure compliance and best practices- Serve as the primary liaison for all IT and IS audit observations, collaborating with relevant teams to address and remediate identified issues within agreed timelines- Proactively recommend process or procedural changes to enhance governance and compliance across various areas such as project delivery, budgeting, and procurement processes- Manage IT assets to align with business needs, focusing on standardization and consolidation for improved efficiency- Identify, record, and mitigate IT risks across the company's IT landscape, driving improvements in IT procedures and adherence to standards and policies- Develop and implement IT Policies and Procedures to maintain consistent technology standards across all technical operations- Advocate for best practices in information and IT security compliance, challenging external consultants or authorities on practices that may pose potential risks or vulnerabilitiesRequirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems and Security- Preferred certifications like SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, CISSP, CASP, and/or SIEM-specific training- 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in IT security and governance- Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions and analyzing network data- Proficiency in security tools such as Anti-Virus, HIPS, ID/PS, and RSA Security
