This position requires a person who can be part of a visionary leadership team with a deep understanding of technology trends, a proven track record of successful innovation projects, and the ability to drive transformative change.Key Duties And Responsibilities Lead and inspire a high-performing technology professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members from same and other departments to encourage innovation and professional development. Collaborate with business leaders, department heads, and cross-functional teams to understand their needs and identify opportunities for technological innovation. Foster a collaborative environment to integrate technology seamlessly with business processes. Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in hospitality technology. Lead the research and evaluation of new technologies for potential adoption, ensuring they align with the company's goals. Design and execute pilot programs and prototypes for testing and validating new technologies. Evaluate the feasibility, scalability, and impact of innovative solutions. Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors, startups, and industry experts. Collaborate with external partners to leverage expertise, explore joint ventures, and stay at the forefront of technological advancements. Develop and manage the technology innovation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support strategic initiatives. Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management. Drive organizational change by championing the adoption of innovative technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems and processes. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, embracing change and uncertainty. Openness to exploring new ideas and approaches. Skills & Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) is a plus. Proven experience (5 years) in a leadership role driving technology innovation within the hospitality or related industry. In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, blockchain, and data analytics. Strong project management skills with a successful track record of implementing transformative technology solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Visionary mindset with the ability to think strategically and drive organizational change. Proven experience (5+ years) in technology development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. in-depth knowledge of technologies, including robotics, AI, ML, websites, application, IOTs, Metaverse, NFT, Cryptocurruncies, Blockchain, telecommunications etc. would be preferred. Strong understanding of cyber security, IT compliance, telecommunication and software development lifecycle would be preferred. Demonstrated success in managing and leading cross-functional technology development teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proven track record of delivering successful technology projects on time and within budget. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in technology.
