The Cost Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the project's financial aspects. This includes budgeting, tracking expenditures, analyzing variances, forecasting costs, and providing strategic financial insights to ensure effective cost management throughout the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction process.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Cost Control Manager will include but are not limited to:
Budgeting: Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and financial targets.Cost Monitoring: Continuously monitor project expenditures, track costs against budgets, and identify and analyze any variances.Forecasting: Utilize historical data and project trends to forecast future costs, allowing for proactive decision-making and risk management.Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders, providing insights into project financial performance and potential areas of concern.Change Order Management: Assess the financial impact of changes in project scope or specifications and collaborate with relevant parties to manage and document change orders.Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.Vendor and Contract Management: Work closely with procurement teams to evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement strategies.Communication: Maintain effective communication channels with project teams, management, and stakeholders to convey financial information, address concerns, and support decision-making.Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations, providing accurate and transparent financial documentation.
