The manager of the Borouge 4 project on behalf of the project owners, a new milestone in the construction of the Borouge 4 expansion in Al Ruwais, with the Early Works phase already underway and the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors set to start construction.Construction Mechanical Supervisor-Piping, PIS is responsible for the coordination of Mechanical Construction for piping activities. (UG HDPE Piping Supervisor).Duties and responsibilitiesDirect management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s) for piping.Guarantee the quality of the works and their compliance with the contractual/engineering requirements of the project satisfying the assigned budget, time schedule quality, safety and environmental.Ensure that their performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality, and cost.Coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance of Mechanical Piping Superintendent and give support to the quality department.Participate to the elaboration of work schedule and to the collection of the progress of the works and analyze any deviations.Ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities.Directly participates to the HSE activities at site.Person SpecificationKnowledge & Qualifications University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.ExperienceRelevant experience in construction/modernization of large Petrochemical plants/ EPC projects.Underground experience will be highly appreciated.Minimum 10 years’ experience in the specific discipline.Candidate must have the HDPE background.Similar role covered in last three projects of comparable size.Experience working on contractor side.Previous experience with similar projects as the main contractor (EPC) providing support to the quality department.Skills and Abilities Fluent English.Excellent IT and analytical skills.Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills.Attention to details.Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
