Coordination of team efforts and leading the team in discussions with the client. Quality check of deliverablesMaking sure that the team understands well the task and works exactly on what client needs, so they don’t do any excessive tasks.Making sure that PMO support properly conducts all project bureaucracy.Responsible in planning and developing systems that encloses all the areas. Role would involve managing the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel to and from construction sites efficiently and safety. Ensures development and implementation of project procedures and plans.Represents the Customer’s interests bringing the project to successful completion.Identifies resources requirements and ensures mobilization and deployment of such resources.Ensures Health, Safety, Security & Environment, Quality Assurance and Waste Management requirements are fulfilled.Develops risk management strategy and ensures project risks are identified and managed.Promotes technical excellence, including implementation of Quality Assurance procedures.Ensures the development of detailed cost plans; approved budget is monitored and provides regular update on financial performance.Ensures an effective change management procedure is developed and implemented.Reviews and provides recommendation on change order requests.Ensures the successful implementation of an effective reporting system.Ensures successful completion, project close out and handover of the projectQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years’ experience in construction logistics projects, materials movement, people movement, traffic management, traffic simulation and waste managementAt least 10 years’ experience as Project Director / Project Manager.Solid understanding and track record in program management.Middle East or Saudi Arabia experience is an advantage. Track record in resource planning, quality and safety management, customer, and stakeholder management, etc.Demonstrated initiative, drive, leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and quest for optimization.Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well organization and planning skills;Ability to work in a cooperative team environment, with stakeholders from very different fields;Experience working with authorities in the Middle East would be an advantage.Excellent communication skills – fluent in English and Arabic, reading, writing and speaking.User skills in MS Office applications including logistics management software, MS Projects and/or Primavera;Driving license required to drive to site or to technical meetings with the client representative.
