Job Description SummaryIn order to support commercial activities within the Sub-Region, with the objective of order intake value, operating targets and to maintain the Customers satisfaction with best solutions and pricing, bid manager will review Customer needs, requirements, prepare the offer and submit detailed response to the enquiries in line with company tendering procedures.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesReview and study project scope of works, clients' requirement, BOQ, project milestones and specification from the supplied bid documents and coordinate go no go meeting Prepare based on customers requests the technical and commercial offers following the internal business rules (Project Management Handbook, Risk assessment, tender approval process, etc) for Grid Systems IntegrationManage with the support of functions and other departments all technical, administrative and contractual queries of the customer at tender level; negotiate the proposal in coordination with Sales Organization and secure the order; ensure that risk provisions are taken into consideration at costing stage.Analyze the indirect costs of the project such as manpower, temporary facilities, site overheads and running expenses. Coordinate with project planner for the tendering and project schedule and resource. Coordinate with engineering department the design and BOQ of the project, participate to the Clarification Meetings. In coordination with sourcing group, ask and review subcontractors & suppliers quotations and participate in the negotiationsDevelop costing as part of the quotation process Keep and update all the records of all tendering documents Maintain contact with the Customer during all tendering process for clarification, negotiation and contract signing. Clarify purchase order receipt and prepare detailed order handover documentation in a timely manner to operations department to execute the contract Schedule the transfer meeting, prepare transfer documents according to transfer check list Participate Booking Review meeting and closing review meeting Participate Closing Review meetings, prepare an analysis report for the tender for Return of Experience Closely follow the project status and update Speak regularly. Required QualificationsUniversity degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 3 years of experience in High Voltage/Medium Voltage Substations and/or Power Plant Projects preferably minimum 2 years of experience in tendering of such projectsFluency in English is required, Arabic and French knowledge would be plusStrong and solid technical background in electrical products and componentsWillingness to travel Desired CharacteristicsAble to work under pressure and meet deadline Good interpersonal and communication skill Computer literacy and familiar with MS Office tools Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong understanding of customer dynamics and requirements Confident negotiator and ability to 'close the deal' Ability to generate ideas and solutions Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No This is a remote position
