Ecommerce Director

An executive recruiter is looking for an Ecommerce Director.ResponsibilitiesAs an Ecommerce Director, you will be accountable for the performance of your vertical’s digital channels. Leading a team of diverse commercial talent, including merchandising, operations, product, creative, and digital marketing, your responsibilities include:Articulating, activating, and achieving the ecommerce strategy for your vertical.Owning the P+L and understanding its drivers for the brands in your portfolio.Nurturing a set of high performance mono- and multi-brand trading teams.Clearly identifying growth levers across areas such as product, CX, marketing, etc.Promoting effective collaboration with COE teams, e.g. performance marketing.Evangelising a data-driven mindset, with experimentation driving trading.Ensuring alignment with the brands’ HQs while adapting to the local markets.Identifying and developing partnership opportunities to grow market share.Being a positive ambassador of the broader e-commerce organisation & culture.Promoting the Group’s industry reputation in the field of digital & ecommerce.RequirementsSeasoned customer-centric leader with both deep and broad digital experience.Strong commercial acumen, capable of instilling a similar mindset in their teams.Proven experience within 360 ecommerce in the retail sector.Beauty experience is highly preferred.Ability to lead without ego, empowering and nurturing directly and indirectly.Executive presence, able to build consensus across teams and define the vision.A hunger to deliver truly transformational impact.
