CET acts as the link between client, RM and Compliance to close out all KYC issues for DIFC branch Dubai.Ensures that E signatures are executed in a timely manner to enable transactions to be booked.Other functions include but not limited to operational activities, GCMS, review of NDA’s, , financial covenant monitoring, etc. NUMBER OF DIRECT REPORTSNone (0)MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE To act as an Analyst for Credit Execution Team (‘CET’) supporting such activity for the Corporate Coverage team within the Corporate Banking, MENA department.Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Conduct periodic and adhoc KYCs, IPAs and all its related tasks. Ensure where possible that KYC overdues are kept to a minimum.Carry out or assist members of the team in fulfilling credit and front-office operational administration for GCIB and JCIB clients.Manage CIFs and customer information.Conduct or assist in administrative tasks which are necessary to process/maintain transactions, including documentation, classifications.Conduct the control testing ( a bank KRI) for all CET KYC and middle office tasks related to JCIB and GCIB portfolios. Remediate agreed actions plans within deadline.Update CET procedure manual for JCIB operational tasks as well as GCIB admin tasks.Preparing covenant check sheets as per the agreements signed between client and bank. Ensuring financial information & covenants are met within due dates, liaising with multiple stakeholders which includes front office, credit, Risk to ensure timely completion or escalation as required.Preparing monthly overnight control book and pending control books which highlight any outstanding documents required or to be shared.Preparing monthly request received for any facility which required to be registered, renewed or updated on OVS. The process requires attaining information as per current credit application and circulated through appropriate approval channels.Verifying obtained stakeholders sign offs / ensure meeting banks signing requirements before signing customer agreements, contract and letters n and E sign needs to go through proper vetting and is presented to the stakeholders and management for signing.Managing and updating Facility agreements repository for all GCIB/JCIB portfolios.Remediate any quality analysis point raised for KYC related portfolio with appropriate actions.Prepare to execute NDA requests received in line with the legal and compliance perspective by performing a gap analysis and highlighting any observations.Maintain a financial promotion repository which holds all the documents shared by business coverage and needs to be recorded with promotional check sheet and management approval.Handle DFSA classifications as part of the annual review conducted and reviewed by the core compliance teams.Handle the incoming request from research team to conduct a light KYC and complete the urgent transactions.Provide administrative support with regards to register credit limits on OVSControl due-dates for credit and administrative matters and monitor completion.Be responsible for the timely and accurate maintenance of files and documents. No ISSP incidents.Assist with ad-hoc administrative and operational duties as they arise to enable the department to work efficiently, including assisting with preparation of presentations, strategy and profit reports. Where workflow levels permit ensure that appropriate support is given to other members of CET.Creation of client records onto relevant systems ( OVS, CIS NET and GCMS+).Management of the signing process of documents (NDA, Facility Agreements, Bilateral Loans, Syndicated Loans, DFSA Classification Letters, Consent & Data Privacy Notices, Commitment letters, Term sheets, Assets sell – down documents, uncommitted facilities…etc.)Liaison with London re Project Finance deals booked in LondonSupport other MUFG offices in collecting KYC information for Middle East Clients as part of the alignment projectMaintain CET trackers up to dateHandle KYC Quality Check end to end process if assigned, deal with KYC Quality check prior to passing the cases to compliance, verify the end-to-end process, make sure cases have been thoroughly examined, and effectively mitigate the risks of Money Laundering, Bribery and Corruption, reputational and any other associate risks.Handle tasks related to the RMAs’ KYCsHandling all inbound due diligence request received from clients & branches in a timely manner. these requests need to be tracked in line with compliance in case there are queries related or escalated to Financial Crimes.Adhere to all incoming request from core compliance requesting audit trails and details of Facility Agreements, Financial Promotions, NDAs, approvals taken or any evidence in line with the scope of CET tasksEDUCATIONUniversity degree or equivalenceWork ExperienceEssential:Previous experience of dealing directly with corporate clients, preferably within the finance industry3-5 years of KYC/operations/middle-office experience within the finance industryDesirable:Previous experience in credit assessmentSkills And ExperienceEssential:English language skills, written and verbal (fluent)Arabic language skills, written and verbal is a preference.Good level of business acumen and analytical skillsA good general understanding of banking, accounting and corporate financingExcellent attention to detail, quality of work and time managementDesirable:Good understanding of the Bank’s corporate clients in regionPersonal RequirementsPersonal alignment to MUFG Values:Integrity & ResponsibilityProfessionalism & TeamworkChallenge ourselves to growPersonal alignment to MUFG Cultural Principles:Client CentricPeople FocusedListen Up, Speak UpInnovate & SimplifyOwn & ExecuteOther essential requirements:Excellent communication skillsResults driven, with a strong sense of accountabilityA proactive, motivated approach.The ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordinglyStrong decision-making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgementA structured and logical approach to workStrong problem-solving skillsA creative and innovative approach to workExcellent interpersonal skillsThe ability to manage large workloads and tight deadlinesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyA calm approach, with the ability to perform well in a pressurised environmentStrong numerical skillsExcellent Microsoft Office skillsPERFORMANCE AND DUTIESThe role holder will be assessed in accordance with their employing entity’s performance framework and process with relevant input obtained from the dual hatting entity as relevant.As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and emended in consultation with the role holder.
