Job Description
- Provide technical assistance to customers, sales teams, and service teams regarding pump selection matching with projects specs.
- Proficiency in reading tenders and bids and determining the appropriate type of pumps according to the requirements
- Review and analyze client requirements, specifications, and tender documents to select suitable pumps and accessories.
- Prepare technical data sheets, performance curves, and compliance documents tailored to customer specifications.
- Prepare and issue detailed quotations, including pricing, delivery time, and technical clarification.
- Work closely with application engineers, sales, and operations to ensure alignment of technical and commercial offers.
- Respond to field queries and site-related technical issues, including pre- and post-sales support.
- Maintain a library of updated technical documents, catalogs, and datasheets.
- Support in preparing technical submittals and documentation for project approvals.
- Participate in product training sessions and remain updated with the latest pump technologies and standards.
- Attending technical meetings with the consultant engineer and the owner and answering all technical inquiries.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical support, application engineering, or sales support in the pumps or fluid handling industry.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, booster systems, and pump selection.
- Familiarity with hydraulic calculations, pump performance curves, and NPSH concepts.
- Experience in preparing technical offers, BOMs, and cost estimates.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components of pumping systems (motors, VFDs, control panels).
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for dealing with clients and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Preferably with a driving license
