Job Description
- Oversee daily quality assurance operations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for film manufacturing processes.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing training and guidance to enhance performance and professional growth.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and finished products to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze quality data and prepare detailed reports for senior management, highlighting trends and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage customer complaints and non-conformance reports, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
- Support the implementation of new quality management systems and tools to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry certifications relevant to flexible packaging and polymer films.
- Foster a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization by promoting best practices and proactive risk management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing or packaging industry.
- Proven track record in leading or supervising quality assurance teams in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
