Job Description
- Explanation and demonstration of particular equipment, its function, and its operation to visitors/customers by guiding them clearly and in a convincing way that inspires enthusiasm.
- Examination of the consultancy pool as well as acceptance or rejection of a request by using the Matching Tool.
- Proactive reception entering visitors/customers and assessment of their concern.
- Provision of an (initial) overview on the Mercedes- Benz products based on the visitor’s/customer’s interests and preferences.
- Responsibility for the execution of a test drive if a visitor/customer wants a test drive purely for information purposes (no assigned Salesperson!) or the Salesperson requests the Product Expert for support.
- Clarification of all relevant test drive details.
- Offering of used vehicle evaluations.
- Preparation of the test drive procedure (provide test drive vehicle).
- Support of the Star Assistant with welcoming visitors/ customers and assessment of their concern during peak times.
- Execution of the functions of the Media Expert which contain the regular checking and updating of the digital media elements’ contents and the explanation of the functions to all visitors / customers as well as to colleagues on request.

- He quickly identifies possible difficulties, which customers may have.
- He orients his approach on how to support the customer individually to their knowledge level.
- The Product Expert knows and understands basic automotive engineering.
- He knows the technical requirements and special product technologies of Mercedes-Benz.
- He can demonstrate examples of groundbreaking technical innovations. He also gets used to the most commonly requested product topics in his work area and keeps up-to-date.
- The Product Expert has excellent behavioral skills and interacts with others with an acceptable degree of casualness, remaining polite, helpful and courteous.
- He likes to get in touch with other people and has an integrative personality.
