Job Description
1.Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
2.Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
3.Completes IT projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
4.Maintains information technology strategies by guiding staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.
5.Monitor and maintain secure computer systems and networks.
6.Secure global computing infrastructure, services and operational/design guidelines to accommodate new application computing requirements.
7.Set a standard guidelines for internet, computer usage, e-mails & software usage.
8.Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing IT policy standards.
9.Administrates the information system security / Data Security as well as security associated with business applications.
10.Manage and handling all modifications in all company systems.
11.Oversees the usage and depreciation of IT Assets.
12.Ensures the safe practice of data backups, through performing schedules audits and administration for the databases and SQLs used.
13.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing secured networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Planning
14.Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
15.Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
16.Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Managing Team
17.Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Experience required from 14 - 18 Years of experience in a similar field.
- Bachelor’s Degree of Computer Science/information systems or equivalent.
- Retail sector experience is preferred.
- IT post graduate certificate /and or Master is required
- Very Good command of English language (Speaking, reading and writing).
- Solid experience in ERP system implementation (MRP and manufacturing, retail & POS)
- Solid experience in SQL/Oracle Database management, experience in networking and remote technical support.
