Job Description
- Oversee daily operations of the stationery retail store to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Lead, train, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and ensure accurate product displays.
- Implement merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and drive sales growth.
- Monitor store performance metrics, analyze sales reports, and develop action plans for improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage orders, deliveries, and product quality.
- Prepare and manage store budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
- Organize promotional events and in-store activities to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 7 years of experience in retail management, preferably in stationery or office supplies.
- Proven track record of leading and developing retail teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and customer interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies for improvement.
- Experience in inventory management and stock control processes.
- Proficiency in using retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
