Job Description
- Source and evaluate offers for both local and international items in line with project requirements and budget.
- Prepare commercial comparison sheets and release POs through the GP system.
- Manage all local logistics from vendors to project sites, ensuring timely delivery.
- Draft, review, and follow up on procurement and service contracts.
- Handle advance payments for local consumables across all sites, ensuring proper tracking.
- Manage all issues related to rented machines on-site, including coordination and resolution.
- Oversee the delivery process for all locally purchased materials to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with site engineers to secure technical approvals before purchasing local materials.
- Lead the procurement team, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement engineering, with a focus on the Oil & Gas industry (a plus).
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices and principles.
- Experience in negotiating and managing contracts
- Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics GP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
