Create and Configure Windows and Linux Guest Virtual Machines
Amend Virtual Hardware resources configuration (CPUs, Memory, Drives, Network etc)
Microsoft and Linux Configuration on VMWare
MS Cluster Services on VMWare and Physical environments

Windows Server Delivery
Build and configure MS cluster system
Platform Stand up – Software installation
Change implementation – system upgrades, RMA, automation (scripting)
Problem Management – Identify service impacting trends and work with the development teams to implement long term solutions.
Ability to work during non-working hours if required
On an on-call basis.
Support and investigate hardware and physical servers’ issues.
Apply Patches on Windows and VMWare server

Ob Duties & tasks include, but not limited to:

System administration of Windows servers
Provide 2nd level support of Windows servers for supported services (optional)
Resolve problems and issues occurred on the Linux servers within the times specified in the SLA
Work through problems and issues to obtain root cause analysis
Support planning and install of new operating system releases to maintain software currency.
Plan and install upgrades/new software, including some local customization.
Support planning and installation of system software patches to fix identified problems.
Manage system & software configurations (via change control)
Manage clusters.

Bachelor degree from a reputable university (Communications engineering or computer science background is preferred).
Previous experience from 3 to 5 years
Basic knowledge on using VSphere
Good knowledge on installing and configuring Windows Server environments
Medium knowledge on Networking
Good knowledge on scripting (Powershell and VBS)
Preferably knowledge on Connect Direct, SFTP and Scripting
Fluent English is a must
Flexible Working Hours

Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Deep Knowledge in Windows administration
Good experience in administration of Linux
Familiarity with various Windows operating systems and platforms
Good Knowledge in database administration of SQL
Good Knowledge in IIS Server
Good Knowledge in SSL and certifications issues
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
