Job Description

The System Administrator will be responsible for managing Microsoft Windows Server environments and handling IT requests from employees. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our server infrastructure and providing timely support to resolve IT-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Windows Server administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to IT support.

1. Windows Server Administration:  

  • Maintain Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.  
  • Manage user accounts, security groups, and permissions. 
  • Monitor server performance and ensure system stability.  
  • Perform regular software updates and patches.  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues. 

2. IT Support:  

  • Respond to IT requests from employees in a timely and efficient manner.  
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to end-users.  
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.  
  • Assist with setting up and configuring workstations.  
  • Install and update software applications as needed. 

3. Network Management:  

  • Assist in the management of network infrastructure, including switches and routers.  
  • Ensure network connectivity and troubleshoot network-related issues.  
  • Implement security measures to protect the network from threats. 

4. Documentation:  

  • Keep an inventory of hardware and software assets.

Job Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 : 5 years of relevant Experience with Certification will be an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with network management and security practices.
