Conduct microbiological examinations for finished products, water, and raw materials in accordance with ISO 17025 to enumerate and detect spoilage and pathogenic microorganisms.
Basically, microbiological work consists of, preparation of culture media, sterilization and sample preparation, testing (Qualitative, quantitative, and confirmation), reporting, and decontamination.
Follow up and conduct microbiological examinations according to environmental monitoring plans based on food safety systems
Ensure all daily testing requests are closed and reported accurately.
Prepare technical sheets, test reports, and maintain observations of datasheets.
Preserve and store samples as per the approved methods.
Ensure good housekeeping and environmental monitoring of the lab during operation.
Quality control of performance for culture media, reagents, kits, sera, and microbial reference strains.
Follow up all equipment cleaning, verification, and record in related forms.
Takes care of calibrations and routine maintenance, verification& performance of lab instruments.
Follow up hygiene, cleaning, and disinfection programs for the manufacturing areas.
Follow up and conduct lab quality assurance program.
