Job Description
Perform on-site calibration of measuring instruments, equipment, and devices across multiple client industries (e.g., manufacturing, food, pharmaceuticals, and laboratories).
Ensure calibration activities meet ISO 17025 requirements, maintaining measurement accuracy, reliability, and traceability.
Prepare and issue calibration certificates/reports in line with company and ISO 17025 documentation standards.
Identify equipment deviations, measurement uncertainties, and corrective actions when necessary.
Operate, maintain, and transport calibration reference standards, ensuring proper use and handling.
Communicate effectively with client representatives to explain results, resolve technical queries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in method development and validation of calibration processes where required.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of calibration work performed for audit and compliance purposes.
Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures during on-site activities.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Metrology, Physics, or related technical field.
Training or certification in ISO 17025 standards and calibration methods is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience in calibration of electrical, mechanical, dimensional, pressure, temperature, or analytical instruments.
Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement uncertainty.
Familiarity with calibration software and documentation systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and calibration procedures.
Professional Skills
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in calibration, preferably within an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory or field service role.
Strong communication skills to interact with clients and prepare clear calibration reports.
Ability to work independently on-site, manage time effectively, and travel frequently to client facilities.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively to client sites.
Physically able to handle and transport calibration standards and equipment.
High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
