Job Description
- Perform chemical and physical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Calibrate and operate laboratory instruments accurately.
- Ensure all testing procedures comply with internal protocols and safety standards.
- Record, analyze, and report laboratory data in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in root cause analysis in case of quality deviations.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality systems such as ISO 22000 and HACCP.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the lab environment
Job Requirements
- Education: B.Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Science.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a lab environment (preferably in the food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries).
- Good understanding of wet chemistry techniques and lab safety practices.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments (e.g. spectrophotometers, pH meters, viscometers, etc.).
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in shifts, if required.
