Job Description
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain financial records for multiple construction projects.
- Generate periodic financial reports (balance sheet, cash flow).
- Monitor project cash flows and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
- Prepare monthly project cost reports and variance analyses.
2- Project Accounting
- Set up and monitor budgets for each project in coordination with project managers.
- Track costs against budgets and flag any overruns or variances.
- Monitor expenses related to labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, etc.
- Handle cost allocations and job costing using construction accounting software.
3- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT laws, and labor laws.
- Coordinate internal and external audits; respond to audit queries.
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions and contracts.
- Manage reporting and filing requirements (Share).
4- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Supervise processing of vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and retention releases.
- Follow up on overdue payments.
- Verify work completion before releasing payments to vendors/subcontractors.
- Follow up bank statements and supplier accounts on a regular basis.
5. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist management in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor expenditures and support cost control initiatives.
- Conduct financial feasibility analysis for new projects or tenders.
6. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and train the accounting team to ensure high standards and accuracy.
- Delegate tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of financial activities.
- Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls.
7. Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with procurement, project, and HR departments to ensure financial accuracy.
- Act as a financial advisor to project managers and senior management.
- Support tendering and bidding processes by providing necessary financial data.
Job Requirements
The candidate must have experience in Construction project finance, cost control, and vendor Knowledge.
Education:
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, +5 years in similar role, Experience in Construction Sector
- Strong Excel and Finical modeling Skills.
- Very Good command of English.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
