Overview:
We are seeking a technical office engineer who preferably worked in the marine sector, this role is critical for ensuring that engineering projects are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years demonstrating proficiency in both technical and managerial aspects of the field.
Job Description:
Oversee engineering projects preferably marine projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including design reviews, feasibility studies, and troubleshooting.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, reports, and correspondence with stakeholders.
Ensure all engineering practices comply with industry standards and regulations related to marine construction and operations.
Implement quality control measures to assess the performance of materials and processes used in marine projects.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil Engineering , advanced degrees are preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience preferably in marine engineering roles with demonstrated success in managing complex projects.
High proficiency in English is a must
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for presenting ideas clearly and collaborating with diverse teams.
High flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements or unexpected challenges.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Proficiency in using engineering software tools relevant to marine design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino).
