Job Description:

A lean-Thinking engineer responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement and project initiatives across manufacturing and production processes using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies and other improvement concepts to streamline production processes, improve operational efficiency and capability by eliminating and reducing all types of wastes, losses and variability to boost and achieve operational excellence

Responsibilities and duties:

1-Collaborate, support, coordinate, and communicate with all production and manufacturing teams at all levels to promote and spread a culture of continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.
2 - Review, validate and analyze process and production data to visualize KPIs on dashboards to make data-driven decisions and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
3 - Gemba Walk for daily audits to ensure the sustainability of improvement projects. 
Proactive for Initiating new improvement projects to eliminate and reduce all type of waste, losses and variation in the process by applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Lean tools:5S, WIs, Wastes identifier, SOP, JIT, RCA,5M,5WHY,4W, OEE, TPM ,Jidoka , Poke-, PDCA, ERP, PPEs, Kaizen
4 - Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of new initiatives and processes.
5 -Providing guidance, awareness and training for knowledge transfer of continuous improvement culture, techniques, tools and new process and best practices.
6 - Encourage and motivate the team to innovate and redesign product, process, methods to improve safety, quality, productivity and reduce costs.
(Kaizen event)
7 - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and operational standards.

Job Requirements

Qualification: -

1 - Bachelor's degree in engineering or bachelor's degree in science, or a related field.

2 - 0-2 Year of experience in process improvement or a similar role is preferred.
Experience working in manufacturing is preferred
Preferably knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

3 - Certification in Lean and Six Sigma (preferred).
