Job Description

  • Generate different ideas and concepts for new solutions while focusing on Cost, performance and reliability.
  • Perform a full life cycle product development from (Concept development, design, developing, testing, and supervising manufacture) to satisfy product goals/requirements.
  • Design and development of new and existing products using Solid Works.
  • Define the mechanical design for subsystems based on the functional specification in cooperation with system engineers & hardware engineers.
  • Building CAD structure and configurations.
  • Create 2D drawings for parts and assemblies with GD&T.
  • Create PCB layout in cooperation with hardware engineers.
  • Develop design documentation, technical specifications, and other project-related documentation such as assembly instruction and fabrication drawings, test procedures, etc. necessary for product implementation.
  • Create detailed BOM material on the ERP system.
  • Design required Jigs and fixtures for assembly operations.
  • Consider design for assembly principles while designing new modules or selecting new components.
  • Perform Prototyping & product testing.
  • Perform verification test for newly designed modules and document verification result.
  • Awareness with the required standard required for any type of product.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in mechanical design
  • Proficient in Mechanical design using SolidWorks CAD software
  • Knowledge of materials selection, manufacturing technologies and Sheet metal design.
  • Knowledge of design guidelines and tolerance analysis.
  • Experience in the plastic design part using injection molding process.
  • Experience in stress analysis FEA and CFD analysis using SolidWorks.
  • Experience in the pneumatics and fluid mechanics.
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
  • SolidWorks file management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing technology.
  • Awareness with IEC 60601-1 is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
  • Self-motivated, result oriented and works independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • English: Good command (writing and speaking).
