Job Description
As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and detailing various types of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with architects, and MEP teams to design safe and cost-effective structures. Your primary focus will be on developing structural designs.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and designing structural components of buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Using computer software to analyze buildings.
- Using computer-aided design (CAD and Revit) software and other tools to create detailed drawings and models.
- Reviewing and approving structural designs and drawings.
- Providing technical advice and support during construction phases.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD software.
- Proficiency in Revit is a plus.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices is desirable.
