Job Description
- Responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems throughout the complex. This includes lounges, administrative offices, kitchens, cold stores, public areas, and backyard facilities. This role ensures that all climate control and refrigeration systems operate efficiently and safely, in compliance with company standards and legal requirements, contributing to customer comfort and operational excellence.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems, including split air conditioning units, packaging units, chillers, freezers, cold rooms, and ice machines.
- Assist in the installation of new HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Recommend system upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency and energy savings.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, refrigerant usage, and energy consumption.
- Perform leak detection, refrigerant charging, and system performance checks in accordance with environmental regulations (e.g., safe refrigerant handling).
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines, including those related to the handling of refrigerants and electrical equipment.
- Work in a team and provide technical support during special events or peak occupancy periods.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC system maintenance, primarily in hotels or premium tourist restaurants.
- Previous experience with all types of air handling units is a Must.
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, chillers, split air conditioning systems, VRV/VRF systems, and cold storage units.
- Certification in refrigerant handling (F-Gas, EPA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
