Job Description
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with Coup’s brand vision and seasonal objectives.
- Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and market data to optimize product assortments and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate closely with design, buying, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product launches and in-store experiences.
- Oversee the planning and execution of visual merchandising standards across all retail locations.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing excess inventory.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of merchandising professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and maintain high product quality.
- Prepare and present regular reports on merchandising performance, KPIs, and actionable insights to senior management.
- Coordinate promotional activities and seasonal campaigns to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform merchandising decisions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in merchandising, preferably within the fashion or retail sector.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable merchandising strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated success in inventory management and stock optimization.
- Proficiency in merchandising software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual presentation.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
