Job Description:

As a Supply Manager in Madeleine by MH’s kitchen, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of acquiring high-quality ingredients essential for the creation of our delectable pastry delights. Your role will encompass procurement, stock level monitoring, supplier management, and cost optimization to ensure the availability of premium ingredients while maximizing cost-efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ingredient Procurement:
  • Source and procure all necessary ingredients for the pastry kitchen.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, prices, and terms to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
  1. Stock Level Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support production requirements.
  • Implement inventory management strategies to prevent stock outs and minimize excess inventory, optimizing storage space and cash flow.
  1. Supplier Research and Evaluation:
  • Identify potential suppliers through market research and evaluations.
  • Compare prices, quality, and reliability to select the best vendors.
  1. Cost Optimization:
  • Analyze costs and trends to identify savings opportunities.
  • Implement procurement strategies for maximum savings without compromising quality.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing, preferably in the F&B industry with a focus on pastry ingredients.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
