Job Description
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime
- Install and update software and systems as needed to optimize performance
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of computers, printers, and other IT equipment. Provide technical support and training to staff on IT systems and applications
- Collaborate with IT team to plan and execute technology initiatives
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage relationships with vendors
- Keep track of IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field is required
- 2+ years of experience as an IT Specialist or similar role preferably in a manufacturing site.
- Extensive knowledge of operating systems, hardware and software.
- Familiarity with network protocols, and basic understanding of cybersecurity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
