Job Description
- Coordinate and manage BIM models for architectural lighting systems throughout all project phases.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and design teams to ensure accurate integration of lighting and electrical systems within BIM environments.
- Develop, update, and maintain BIM models, ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between MEP, architectural, landscape, and other building systems using BIM tools.
- Prepare and deliver detailed BIM documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports for project stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of BIM execution plans and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on BIM models to verify accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to facilitate seamless model exchange and collaboration.
- Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies and recommend process improvements to enhance project delivery.
Job Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in BIM coordination within electrical or architectural disciplines.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of electrical and architectural systems in building projects.
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and BIM documentation.
- Ability to interpret and integrate multidisciplinary design information into BIM models.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with diverse project teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans.
- Ability to work on-site in an open-office environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
