Job Description
Implementation and Supervision: Monitoring and managing construction processes to ensure the project is executed according to the approved plans, specifications, and standards.
Project Management: Coordinating activities between various teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the project meets its time and financial objectives.
Quality Control: Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards through regular inspections and reviews of the completed work.
Report Preparation: Preparing progress reports and documenting all activities, achievements, and issues that occur during execution.
Problem Solving: Addressing any issues or challenges that arise during execution and providing effective solutions.
Coordination with Teams: Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and designers to ensure project requirements are met.
Budget Management: Monitoring project costs and ensuring the budget is not exceeded by tracking and analyzing expenses.
Compliance: Ensuring all work complies with local and international laws and regulations, as well as safety standards.
Providing Technical Advice: Offering advice to contractors regarding site and location-related matters.
Coordination: Coordinating with concrete plants and monitoring pouring operations on-site.
Inventory Management: Collecting and reporting on the materials used and consumed on-site, providing detailed reports.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a Structural Engineer.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD
- Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
- Good communication ability (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Degree in Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus
- Member of the Institute of Structural Engineering
