About TetherView and Job Role

TetherView, a leading provider of secure and efficient business technology solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Administration Specialist to join our IT team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and compliance of our Microsoft 365 environment, including key applications such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in Microsoft 365 administration, with a strong focus on automation, security, and compliance best practices. This position is based in Cairo, with an expectation to work from Sunday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm Cairo time, and requires professional who are fluent in automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Lead the administration and support of an enterprise-level Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Security and Compliance: Establish and maintain security, compliance, and access controls for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Ensure the egress points of email and Microsoft 365 are secure and compliant with industry standards including Entra and MFA.
  • Automation and Best Practices: Utilize automation tools to build and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment according to best practices.
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure: Build and manage the Windows Virtual Desktop and/or Windows 365 environment, ensuring its integration with OneDrive and other Microsoft utilities while maintaining security, compliance, and backup protocols.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including requirements, configuration, processes/workflows, integrations, and training manuals.
  • Troubleshooting: Proactively troubleshoot Exchange Online and other Microsoft 365 related issues, responding to alerts from monitoring software efficiently.
  • Collaboration and SME Role: Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in technology-focused business working groups and/or task forces. Engage and collaborate with all levels of leadership, business units, and staff to solve business problems and improve processes.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven expertise in administering and automating Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and access control best practices for Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Windows Virtual Desktop, including building tenants, integrating Microsoft utilities, and managing security and backups.
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with various levels of the organization.
  • Must be fluent in automation.
