Job Description
- Design & Technical Support:
- Develop technical specifications and designs for generator systems, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain technical data, product details, and cost estimates for generators and associated equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of equipment selection, layout drawings, and system integration for generator projects.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
- Ensure that all technical designs, documentation, and installation work meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Perform regular inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with technical standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support during project execution, addressing any engineering-related issues or changes in scope.
- Client & Stakeholder Interaction:
- Act as a point of contact for clients regarding technical queries, updates, and reports related to generator projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering,
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in generator design, installation, and technical support.
- Familiarity with different types of generators (diesel, gas, etc.), electrical systems, and related equipment.
- Experience with project coordination, technical specifications, and design calculations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, or similar tools).
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to power generation.
- Understanding of generator sizing, load analysis, and power distribution systems.
- Familiarity with national and international standards (such as IEC, NEC, BS, etc.) related to power generation systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
